The class will be taught on Sunday, September 27th at 1:30pm at our office space (1457 First Street, Livermore). The skill session will last ~1-1.5 hours.

Class description From Heartbeat Health Education:

“Designed especially for parents, caregivers, and little ones, our Pediatric First Aid & CPR (Mommy & Me) class offers a supportive, family-friendly learning experience built on the trusted American Heart Association Heartsaver® framework, thoughtfully adapted for real-life parenting situations.

This hands-on course focuses on the most common emergencies involving infants and young children, including CPR, choking relief, and basic first aid. Instruction is practical, engaging, and paced to meet the needs of parents—whether you’re a new mom, an experienced caregiver, or somewhere in between.

While this course does not provide an AHA certification card, it delivers high-quality, evidence-based education to help you feel confident and prepared to respond in an emergency. Our goal is empowerment—not testing—so you leave with real skills, real understanding, and peace of mind.

What you’ll learn:

  • Infant and child CPR

  • Choking relief for infants and children

  • Basic first aid for common pediatric emergencies

  • Injury prevention and safety tips for the home”
