Classes are led by local moms & pediatric therapists and designed to span your child’s first 2 years of life.
Each class follows a general structure that includes:
A welcome song
Structured purposeful play: Positions, songs, and activities tailored to your baby’s age and development
A developmental topic will be covered with time allotted to practice or play with your baby
High’s & Low’s: A chance to listen and share with your community of moms

Roots (0-3 months)
This class is designed for babies to start between ~0-3 months old.
Our Roots Series is designed with 2 main goals in mind:
Help you build a strong foundation for connecting with your baby, understanding their development, and supporting them through play.
Help you meet new local mom friends and build your support system. We want you to have a safe place to build confidence in going places with your baby, share your experiences with moms going through a similar season, and ask questions/advice from other moms or the instructors.
We will also be covering different topics that may include:
Introduction to purposeful play: The power of observation, reading baby’s cues, & the best time to “play” with your baby
Building Strong Bodies Through Play and Positioning: Setting baby up for a strong body and healthy head shape, importance of floor play, containers we do/don’t recommend, and baby wearing 101.
Before Baby Talks: Building the Foundation for Language
Mastering tummy time: Making tummy time easier, more fun, and overall less tortuous (we promise)!
Seeing the World: Understanding and supporting baby’s vision through play
Gas & Reflux: Strategies for a more comfortable baby (positioning, tummy massage, & movements)
Teethers, Tongues, and Tiny Mouths: All things teething and supporting baby’s oral motor development through exploration and play
Rolling 101: Understanding how to help your little one roll
Our next Roots class will be a 10 week session starting the week of February 25th-May 6th (Spring Break will be observed the week of April 6th). It will be Wednesdays from 10:30am-11:30am.
Sprouts (3-6 months)
Our Sprouts Series is designed for babies to start when they are between 3-6 months old.
Throughout the 10 week series you will learn beneficial positions for your baby to play in and how to engage them through developmentally appropriate play and songs.
We will also be covering different topics that may include:
Developmental overview: Skills your baby is working on & our favorite toys & books for this age (includes a toy/book guide).
Tummy time 2.0: Mastering tummy time and building on new movement skills
Ideas for play time: Understanding what’s happening in baby’s brain and how to play with your little one in a way that is developmentally appropriate and fun for you too.
Sitting 101: How to support your baby to become a good, active sitter.
Starting Solids: Everything you need to know to take the stress out of starting and exploring solid foods.
Raising a reader: Strategies for reading with your baby to build vocabulary and communication skills
Visual development & hand-eye coordination: Supporting baby’s vision and activities for reaching, grasping, and rolling
Gestures 101: A huge step towards talking and communication; How to model through daily activities and play
Intro to Babyproofing: Signs baby will be on the move soon & creating a “yes” space!
Our next Sprouts class will be a 10 week session starting the week of February 27th-May 8th (Spring Break will be observed the week of April 6th). It will be Fridays from 10:30am-11:30am.
Buds (6-9 months)
Our Buds Series is designed for babies to start when they are between 6-9 months old.
Emphasis during this series is placed on allowing independent exploration as baby gets more mobile, fostering problem solving skills, and getting social with other babies.
Throughout the 10 week series you will learn beneficial activities for your baby to play in and how to engage them through developmentally appropriate play and songs.
We will also be covering different topics that may include:
Developmental Overview: Skills your baby is working on and toys/books we love to introduce at this age
Mastering sitting and what’s next: Helping baby master sitting, transition in/out of sitting, and tips for helping baby get mobile.
Functional language: Helping baby communicate their “wants” and “needs” with exposure of language through play.
Crawling 101: Tips and tricks for playtime that will encourage crawling
Baby Sign language: What it is, signs to prioritize, and how to introduce them to your baby
Fine motor development: Pinching, poking, pointing—How to support baby’s fine
Should my baby be standing? Signs of readiness and when/how to encourage it.
Risky play: Getting comfortable with your new explorer/risk taker, why your baby wants to climb on everything, and teaching baby safe strategies for getting down
Music play: Benefits and fun with language and songs
Our next Buds class will be a 10 week session starting the week of February 25th-May 6th (Spring Break will be observed the week of April 6th). It will be Wednesdays from 12-1pm.
Wildflowers (9-12 mo)
Our Wildflowers Series is designed for babies to start when they are between 9-12 months old.
Emphasis during this series is placed on allowing independent exploration as baby gets more mobile, fostering problem solving skills, getting social with other babies, & exploring more sophisticated styles of play.
Throughout the 10 week series you will build your community of mom friends and learn beneficial activities for your baby and how to engage them through developmentally appropriate play and songs.

Walking 101: Is baby ready? Play activities to encourage standing and walking
Baby’s First Words: How to support your young talker
Parents as Play Partners: What all parents should know about playing with your baby

Constructive Play: Problem solving, and embracing imperfection
Fine Motor Activities: Strategies to encourage and nurture fine motor skills
Imitative play: Modeling and strategies for building speech and communication skills
Toddlers in Training: Understanding and preparing for tantrums/BIG feeling
Wildflowers also includes a Livermore Mommy & Me tshirt for your little one and a silhouette keepsake for you!

Busy Bees (12-24 mo)
Our Busy Bees class is designed for our busiest little toddlers (12-24 months).
We are SO excited to introduce toddler classes!
Our primary focus for this series includes:
Exposing your little one to enriching and fun activities, with a special focus on language, communication, movement, music, sensory, and themed-play.
Every 2-3 weeks we will introduce a new theme, to allow your toddler to be exposed to new fun concepts, songs, and vocabulary.
Time for free play, to allow you to chat with other moms and allow your toddler to have social exposure with others as well.
Curated mom-chats. Time to share, ask for advice, and build your village.
Play & Development Tip of the Week! Each class we will be providing you with a fun & simple tip for supporting your little one, cultivating learning and development at home!
