USD 350.00

Join us (and your new group of mom friends) every Wednesday at 10:30-11:30am at our space in Livermore (1457 First Street), for a 10 week series from February 25th - May 6th, 2026. We will observe Spring Break the week of April 6th; no class Wednesday, April 8th.

Our Roots Series is designed with our youngest babies in mind.

One of our primary goals for this series (and really all of them) is to build a strong foundation for connecting with your baby and supporting their development through play.

Throughout the first 10 weeks you will learn beneficial positions for your baby to play in and how to engage them through developmentally appropriate play and songs.

Each class follows a similar structure:

  • Welcome songs and settling in

  • Music and Movement (developmentally appropriate songs and positions for your baby)

  • Developmental Topic with time to play and practice

  • High’s & Low’s- Time for moms to chat, share, breathe, and give/receive advice

  • Bubbles and Bye byes

The developmental topics that are covered in our Roots class include:

  • Introduction to Purposeful Play: The power of observation, reading baby’s cues, & when to play with baby

  • Building Strong Bodies Through Play and Positioning: Setting baby up for a strong body and healthy head shape, importance of floor play, containers we do/don’t recommend, and baby wearing 101.

  • Before Baby Talks: Building the Foundation for Language

  • Mastering Tummy Time: Making tummy time easier, more fun, and overall less tortuous!

  • Seeing the World: Supporting baby’s vision through play

  • Gas & Reflux: Strategies for a more comfortable baby

  • Teethers, Tongues, and Tiny Mouths: All things teething and supporting baby’s oral motor development through exploration and play

  • The Power of Touch: Bonding Through Massage and Play

  • Rolling 101: Setting the stage for mobility
