Early Access: Wildflowers (9-12 months) | August 27th-October 29th
Join us every Wednesday, from 12-1pm at our new space in Livermore (1457 First Street) for a 10 week series from August 27th-October 29th.
Our Wildflowers Series is designed for babies to start when they are between 9-12 months old.
One of our primary goals for this series (and really all of them) is to build a strong foundation for connecting with your baby and supporting their development through play. Emphasis during this series is placed on allowing independent exploration, fostering problem solving skills, and learning about more sophisticated styles of play.
Throughout the 10 week series you will learn beneficial activities for your baby to play in and how to engage them through developmentally appropriate play and songs.
Each class follows a similar structure:
Welcome songs and settling in
Music and Movement (developmentally appropriate songs and positions for your baby)
Parachute Play
Developmental Topic with time to play and practice
High’s & Low’s- Time for moms to chat, share, breathe, and give/receive advice
Bubbles and Bye bye’s
The following are developmental topics we cover in our Wildflower class:
An overview of development + our favorite toys & books for this stage of development (including our toy and book guide)
Walking 101: Is baby ready? Play activities to encourage standing and walking
Baby’s First Words: How to support your young talker
Parents as Play Partners: What all parents should know about playing with your baby
